What does the name Loecsen mean?

It’s a word that doesn’t exist in any language — and that’s precisely why it belongs to all of them.

The name Loecsen symbolizes the universal nature of our method: a learning approach designed to adapt to anyone, regardless of their linguistic or cultural background.

Rather than replicating traditional classroom models or marketing formulas, we draw on universal cognitive mechanisms — the kind you find in games, active repetition, and intuitive learning.

At Loecsen, we’ve chosen to replicate as closely as possible the experience of a child learning their native language — but adapted to adults, who already know how to learn, read, and analyze.

Practically, this means direct exposure to useful phrases in everyday situations, without separating vocabulary, grammar, and culture. You learn just like in real life: by listening, repeating, and gradually understanding through context — all driven by curiosity and the desire to explore.

All lessons are available from the very beginning and can be explored freely. This freedom encourages an intuitive grasp of the language and helps build a personal mental map that supports long-term knowledge retention.

Right from the start, you access useful vocabulary that can be used immediately. No artificial or quirky sentences — everything you learn is applicable in real life.

You get a clear overview of the entire course from the beginning, so you can organize your learning effectively. No locked levels or forced progression — you move forward at your own pace.

Pronunciation is a key focus of the method, thanks to an integrated voice recognition system (available on Chrome and Android). You’re learning to speak, not just to recognize words.

The learning process is both active and passive: you can listen to all content in bilingual mode, with or without background music, to reinforce your knowledge even passively.

The method adapts to your rhythm: reviews are personalized, content is flexible, and you’re never locked into a rigid framework. You’re free to build your own learning path.

And finally, you can keep learning even without a screen: all content is available in downloadable PDF and audio formats, so you can study anytime, anywhere — no digital interface required.

Loecsen is designed for those who want to learn freely, without depending on an algorithm or a gamified system. It’s a method that respects your time, your intelligence… and your independence.

There is no strict rule, but it is generally recommended to carry out at least three sessions.

Remember that the first sessions are often the longest, including the time needed to discover the material.

The "magic" of our method guarantees that, whatever time you can allocate to learning, harmony will be established between this time and the requests received to carry out the tests.

If the number of tests to be carried out becomes too large, you will naturally slow down your pace, which will reduce the demands. Our program will then gradually adjust the order of the words to learn to optimize your learning journey according to your availability.

We recommend spending at least 3 hours per week on this training for optimal results. The pace can be adjusted according to your availability.

The most important thing is to train daily and never interrupt your training sessions for more than 2 or 3 days.

The first results will be visible from the first sessions, especially if you start from scratch. You will quickly see your progress.

We use AI to enhance our courses, making them more comprehensive, engaging, personalized, and interactive.

However, there is one thing we do not delegate to AI: the control of content relevance and pedagogy, which is determined language by language. Learning Finnish is not the same as learning Spanish, and a German learner will have different questions when learning Spanish compared to a French learner.

We currently use artificial intelligence for: 

1. Pronunciation analysis: We use AI-powered voice analysis technologies to evaluate and correct users' pronunciation, helping them improve their accent with precision.
2. Instant feedback: We use AI to provide immediate feedback on users' responses, helping them learn from their mistakes in real time.
3. Allowing a broad and nuanced range of responses: AI enables us to recognize if an unexpected response is still correct. It helps us explain the nuance between the user's answer and the originally expected one.

Coming soon:

1. More personalization: We will use AI to tailor lessons based on the user's progress and difficulties, offering personalized exercises to strengthen each learner's specific language skills.
2. Interactive conversations: We will integrate learning chatbots to allow users to practice real-time conversations based on learned concepts and vocabulary, providing contextual corrections and suggestions.

We tested several AI-based conversational apps designed for language learning. The result? They’re an excellent complement to self-learning online or with a teacher.

But here’s the catch: these tools tend to deliver fast results mainly for learners who already have some basic knowledge of the language.

For complete beginners, it can be the opposite – progress often feels slow and frustrating without a solid memorization method to support it.

There’s a simple reason for this: the human brain retains information much better when it creates multiple connections around what it learns.

That’s why our method combines several key elements: listening to sounds, speaking out loud, reading illustrated content, and even playing games!

So yes, AI chatbots can work wonders… as long as they’re part of a real language learning strategy!

To help you get started, we provide free ready-to-use instructions – or “prompts” – that you can copy and paste into ChatGPT by OpenAI or any other chatbot.

The real secret to fast, effective learning lies in combining these conversational tools with a structured approach like the one Loecsen offers.

It is now well established that excessive screen time can impact health in the short term, cognitive abilities in the medium term, and personality development in the long term. These effects are even more pronounced in children.

At the same time, technological advancements have transformed education, allowing young learners to master a new language independently as early as age 10 or 11—something that would have seemed impossible just a few years ago.

To bridge these two realities, we have developed solutions that maximize educational benefits while minimizing screen time:
